Revolutionizing Team Management with Scorbord
Our journey began with a simple but powerful hypothesis: we believed that if high school coaches were freed up to focus most of their effort on simply coaching their team that they could deliver a championship caliber season.
We were able to test this hypothesis when our Founder Steven Holt accepted an opportunity to join Thom Jacquet's Boys Soccer coaching staff at Greater Atlanta Christian School as a community coach in the Fall of 2019.
Over the next few years "Coach Holt" learned more and took more of the day-to-day tasks off of Coach Jacquet's plate and it all came together in a State Championship winning season in 2022.
The hypothesis was proven correct. Sure, some breaks had to go the right way, but it still required a prepared and capable Head Coach to capitalize on those breaks actually. Coach Jacquet was prepared with the clear headspace to lead a team of that caliber to a championship.
Still riding the high of a winning a championship, we realized, "We've got to take this to other coaches!"
So the idea of Scorbord as a tool for high school coaches really took off right then and there.
Frustrated by the complexities and limitations of existing solutions, we set out to create a platform that would empower teams to collaborate more effectively, streamline workflows, and simplify the season; ultimately freeing up coaches to coach and drive success.
